Project Description

Inventory, prioritize, and develop solutions to un-paved roads in the Choctawhatchee Bay Watershed including (1) updating existing inventories of unpaved roads and unpaved road stream crossings, crossovers and proximity sites; (2) adding GIS overlays of habitat and resource impairments; (3) prioritizing the most prominent road sites negatively affecting Choctawhatchee resources and habitats; and (4) planning and designing corrective measures. Restoration plans will be developed to identify site specific solutions and estimate the cost of necessary improvements for the highest priority sites as funding allows.
