Construct approximately 4,415 linear-foot segment(s) of rock breakwater within the Carancahua Cove area of West Bay, Texas. Project will directly benefit avian and estuarine fishery species and their habitat by protecting approximately two (2) acres of existing estuarine emergent marsh, 12 acres of existing seagrass beds, 73 acres of future restored estuarine marsh complex (intertidal fringe marsh, salt flat marsh, sand flat and protected shallow water), calm and protect approximately 95 acres of shallow estuarine subtidal /open water habitat and create 8,830 linear feet of hard substrate.
