Project Description
Ms. Frometa earned an M.S. in marine biology from the College of Charleston and a B.S. in biology from the University of Florida. Prior to her fellowship, she worked as a biologist at NOAA’s Deep Coral Ecology Laboratory examining the health of deep sea coral ecosystems in the Gulf of Mexico. As part of this work, she assisted in the damage assessment following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
