Project Description
Phase II of the Mobile Bay Shore Habitat Conservation and Acquisition Initiative (AL) (the aProjecta) is to acquire, restore and preserve intact high-priority, undeveloped intertidal habitat properties within three specific areas of the City of Mobile: (Area 1) riparian, wetland and upland habitats in the Dog River Watershed (Perch Creek) near its connection to Mobile Bay; (Area 2) bay shore property in the Garrows Bend Watershed connecting to Helen Wood Park on the mouth of Dog River; and (Area 3) the lower watershed area of the Three Mile Creek Watershed for purposes of implementing the recommendations of the Three Mile Creek Watershed Management Plan.
