Project Description
This project, Phase II of an effort previously funded by NFWF, will restore a portion of the eroding shoreline on the north side of the Richard T. Paul Alafia Bank Bird Sanctuary within Tampa Bay. This site hosts a remarkable diversity and abundance of waterbirds and shorebirds, many of which were impacted by the oil spill. It is considered the premier site in central Florida for nesting waterbirds.
