Project Description

Funds were reallocated from the Marine Fisheries Enhancement, Research and Science Center to restoration projects intended to provide and enhance recreational opportunities in Louisiana. The LA-TIG released a draft restoration plan in December 2017 for a suite of recreational use projects, including the Lake Charles Science Center, artificial fishing reef improvements, improved access to Elmer’s Island, and Island Road fishing piers Pointe-Aux Chenes
