Project Description

This project includes the building of multi-use campsites, tent campsites, dune access boardwalks, equestrian facilities, as well as restroom and shower facilities on the beach side of the park. These improvements will enhance visitor use and enjoyment of park resources. Galveston Island State Park is a 2,000-acre park in the middle of Galveston Island, southwest of the city of Galveston in Galveston County, Texas.
