Project Description

The Grand Isle Area Drainage Improvements Project Grant Is Awarded To Jefferson Parish Under The Restore Act Direct Component For Drainage Improvement And Pumping Station Construction, In Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Specifically, The Goal Of The Project Is To Install Two Pumps At The Chighizola Pump Station And Expand Existing Pump Stations At Landry's Hole And Cypress Lane, In Jefferson Parish To Increase The Efficiency Of Water Conveyance And Removal On Grand Isle And Reduce The Risk Of Floods. The Project Will Benefit The Coastal Communities Of The Jefferson Parish Gulf Coast Region. There Are No Subrecipients On This Grant.
