The Port Bienville Railroad Intermodal Expansion Project Grant Is Awarded To Mississippi Department Of Environmental Quality Under The Restore Act Direct Component Grant Program For The Construction Of A Classification Yard And An Intermodal Switch Lead At The Port Bienville Railroad Pbvr. The Project Objectives Are To Increase The Storage And Intermodal Facilities At Pbvr To Make The Gulf Coast Rail Corridor More Efficient For Freight. The Project Will Benefit The Coastal Communities Of The Hancock County, Mississippi And The Gulf Coast Rail System. The Subrecipient, Hancock County Port And Harbor Commission, Will Carry Out The Scope Of Work For The Project
