The Lowry Island Restoration Project Grant Is Awarded To The Mississippi Department Of Environmental Quality Under The Restore Act Direct Component To Support Site Improvements And Construction Of A Public Marina For Enhanced Public Use As Well As To Encourage Economic Development In Lowry Island, Jackson County, Mississippi. The Project Objectives Are To Enhance Public Use And Encourage Economic Development Opportunities. The Project Will Benefit The Coastal Communities Of Jackson County, Mississippi And The Gulf Coast Region. The Subrecipient, The City Of Pascagoula, Will Carry Out The Scope Of Work For The Project.
