Project Description
In this fourth phase, funds will be used to acquire 1,675 acres in fee, perpetually protect 4,975 acres through conservation easements, and enhance 571 acres of habitat in the Canadian portion of the Prairie Pothole Region, for the benefit of migratory birds. This project will protect and enhance breeding, moulting, and staging habitat for a variety of waterfowl and wetland-dependent birds. This is a programmatic addition to Phases I, II, and III.
