Project Description
The County-Wide Dune Restoration Construction Project Grant Will Be Awarded To Franklin County Board Of Commissioner Under The Restore Act Direct Component Program To Rebuild And Increase Stability Of The Dune System. The Objectives Of This Project Are To Improve Existing Dune Structures At Public Park Facilities, Increase Crest Elevations, Crest Widths, And Side Slopes; And Improve Existing Dune Structures By Assisting Beach-Front Property Owners On Planting Native Vegetation In The Development And Growth Of The Dunes. The Project Will Benefit The Coastal Communities Of The Franklin County. There Are No Subrecipients On This Grant.
