Project Description

Recover shorebird (American oystercatcher, snowy plover, Wilson’s plover) and seabird (least tern, black skimmer) populations in Florida using five strategies: reduce human disturbance, manage habitat, manage predation, inform management & track outcomes, and improve regulatory coordination. Project will continue and expand upon successful foundational shorebird conservation work previously funded by GEBF.
