Project Description
The Project will explore how social determinants create and maintain elevated environmental and climate risks (e.g., pollution “hot-spots,” flooding, urban heat islands, nature deprived areas, food deserts, etc.) and health disparities (e.g., asthma and respiratory illnesses, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, heat-related illnesses, drowning and injuries, maternal and child health outcomes, mental health stress, etc.) (Bullard,et.al., 2009, 2011; Bullard and Wright 2009, 2012).
