Project Description
The Hancock County Fairgrounds Revitalization grant is awarded to the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality under the RESTORE Act Direct Component to support infrastructure benefitting the economy of the Gulf Coast Region by providing needed infrastructure and facility upgrades for the Hancock County Fairgrounds to attract enhanced tourism opportunities. The project objective is to implement site amenities and facilities improvements at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. The project will benefit the coastal communities of the Gulf Coast Region. The subrecipient, Hancock County, will carry out the scope of work for the grant.
