Project Description
This project will result in a fully constructed effort to restore deltaic wetlands in Louisiana’s Barataria basin with a sediment diversion from the Mississippi River. The Project will use the river sediments and freshwater from the river to reestablish delta wetland building and sustain a gradient of habitat types that support estuarine-resident and dependent organisms.
