Project Description
The proposed project aims to address the third major research theme, "Environmental effect of the petroleum/dispersant system on the sea floor, water column, coastal waters, beach sediments, wetlands, marshes, and organisms; and the science of ecosystem recovery". Specifically, this study will focus on creating a microbial assemblage model that uses environmental parameters measured at the time of community isolation combined with metagenomic sequence data to generate a predictive environment in silico.
