Project Description
The East Bay Living Shoreline And Seagrass Project Grant Is Awarded To Bay County, Florida Under The Restore Act Direct Component Program To Fund Marsh And Seagrass Enhancements On State-Owned Sovereign Submerged Lands To Restore And Protect Natural Resources. Direct Component Funds Will Restore Approximately 5 Acres Of A Larger 600-Acre Complex Of Marshes And Seagrasses. The Goal Of The Project Is To Improve Sediment Capture And Allow Natural Systems To Migrate And Adapt To Sea Level Rise Over Time. The Project Will Benefit The Gulf Coast Region. The Subrecipient, The Nature Conservancy Will Carry Out The Project Scope Of Work.
