Project Description

Conduct construction (Phase II) of the design and permitting habitat restoration activities currently in progress for the east end shoreline. This project will restore approximately 1.5-miles of shoreline and approximately 88 acres of beach and dune habitat as well as protect an additional 50 acres of beach, dune, maritime forest, and freshwater lakes and ponds habitats presently existing within the east end of Dauphin Island.
