Project Description
The Westward Expansion of the CWPPRA Rockefeller Refuge Gulf Shoreline Stabilization project grant is awarded to Calcasieu Parish under the RESTORE Act Direct Component program to support a restoration project which is to install an additional 0.3 miles of rock breakwaters with a light-weight aggregate core, starting at the westernmost end of the ME-37 Rockefeller Refuge Gulf Shoreline Stabilization project. The goal of the project is to reduce the shoreline erosion along Gulf shoreline. The project will benefit the Gulf Coast Region. Cameron Parish is the subrecipient that will carry out the scope of work for the project.
