Project Description
Sampling of adult, larval, and embryonic gulf killifish (Fundulus grandis) from contaminated sites in southern Barataria bay and control sites in Texas. Sampling of water, soil and sediment from study sites. Processing and storing of tissues for histopathology, hormone analysis, gene expression analysis, and deep sequencing of microbial flora. Processing and storage of soil, water and sediment samples for DOSS analysis. Rearing of fish from contaminated and reference sites for determination of neoplasms.
