Project Description
The City of Gulf Shores, city of Orange Beach, Gulf State Park, Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) form the largest group of coastal landowners along the Alabama Gulf Coast. These owners collectively own and/or manage approximately 18-20 linear miles of dune habitat. Through this project, we installed approximately 678,000 native dune plants, 31,000 linear feet of sand fencing, 2 dune walkovers and 220 restoration signs in coastal Alabama.
