Project Description
This project will enhance the Creative Complex at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art by constructing a facility for environmental education and outreach, including education coastal exhibits and collections, hands-on activities, and other interactive activities. The Creative Complex is an expansion of the Museum's campus with a total 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor spaces and gardens. The Creative Complex will facilitate coastal education and recreation to promote engagement in restoration and stewardship of natural resources. Programs including excursions to the barrier islands and exploration of other coastal habitats will improve the connectedness of the public to the environments.
