Project Description
This project focuses on activities that will support or enhance Marine Mammal Stranding Network (MMSN) diagnostic capabilities to improve treatment and care for live stranded cetaceans and support data collection, reporting, and management consistency across the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) MMSN as a whole. Specific project activities include: improving diagnostic capabilities, providing auditory testing equipment and training, improving access to laboratory testing, enhancing data management and synthesis, and improving training and cross-network coordination.
