Project Description
Auburn University (AU) has a mandate to extend access to higher education, advance practical fields like engineering, agriculture and marine sciences through research and outreach and contribute to economic development of Alabama and the United States. This project furthers AU’s Land-, Sea-, and Space-Grant mandate by creating a world-class research facility in Orange Beach, AL where engineers and scientists from academic institutions and private industry can engage in engineering research of critical importance to coastal Alabama, the Gulf Coast region and other communities.
