Project Description
Establishment of a benthic habitat mapping framework for the Western Florida Escarpment by: reviewing existing and successful frameworks for marine data integration and distribution around the world, (2) reviewing existing standards, protocols, and guidelines for data collection, integration, and distribution, (3) getting community agreement on the structure of a framework for data integration and distribution on the West Florida Shelf, and (4) building a cyberinfrastructure to support the chosen framework.
