Project Description
Construct approximately 2 miles of living shoreline structures to protect and restore the mouth of Carancahua Bay along Salt Lake and Redfish Lake adjacent to Carancahua Bay and Matagorda Bay. Project will protect approximately 3 miles of shoreline and up to 75% of intertidal salt marsh within the lakes and provide shallow water habitat for oysters, seagrass, and fish species.
