Project Description
The project is for the continuation of the construction of a linear rock breakwater project in Tangipahoa Parish. Phase 1 was completed in 2014 resulting in the completion of 9,300 linear feet [3 miles of rock breakwaters] of shoreline protection. Phase 2 project will complete approximately 7,553 linear feet of breakwaters, to protect the area between the mouth of the Tangipahoa River and westward to Pass Manchac, in Tangipahoa Parish.
