Project Description
This program is to support tourism in the Gulf Coast Region through the implementation of six identified projects. The project activities funded by the grant to TCEQ will be implemented by the subrecipients identified for each project. Project 1: Sea Turtle Educational Complex (subrecipient - Sea Turtle Inc.). Project 2: E.K Atwood Park Pavilion Improvements (subrecipient - Cameron County ). Project 3: Padre Balli & Magee Beach Parks (subrecipient - Nueces County). Project 4: Quintana Beach Public Fishing Pier Renovation - Phase II. Project 5: Laguna Madre Boat Ramp & Education, Conservation and Tourism (subrecipient - City of South Padre Island). Project 6: East End Lagoon Phase I-A (subrecipient - Galveston Park Board of Trustees).
