To provide planning assistance funding for the redevelopment of the Bayou La Batre city docks (Phase I), including a feasibility study and master plan to create redevelopment plans which will encourage expansion of the local seafood industry, promote recreational fishing and boating, and result in an enhanced local economy and improved quality of life.
