This restoration planning effort focuses on restoration of wetlands, coastal and nearshore habitats through marsh creation within the Barataria Basin. These funds will be used to prepare a draft and final Large-Scale Marsh Creation in Barataria Basin Phase II Restoration Plan/Environmental Assessment as required by the Oil Pollution Act (OPA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and the Trustees? Programmatic Damage Assessment and Restoration Plan and Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PDARP/PEIS).
