Project Description

This project conducted vessel-based photo-identification surveys for abundance, distribution, density, and survival of marine mammals in Barataria Bay, Louisiana. This effort supported the understanding of baseline population conditions that were and will continue to be used to evaluate the effects of implementing Deepwater Horizon Natural Resource Damage Assessment and other restoration projects.
