Project Description

The project includes acquisition of important coastal habitat that will be conveyed to the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to be managed as part of the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge (LANWR). This project acquired 1,636.49 acres of beach, dune, and tidal habitats on South Padre Island, Texas.
