This project will restore degraded reefs in the Florida Keys via the outplanting of nursery-reared corals. Project objectives include increasing live coral cover, increasing the populations of federally threatened coral species, habitat restoration, improving the long-term outlook of coral populations, and improving the recreational and tourism value of Monroe County reefs. The scope of work includes a three-year performance period for outplanting coral, with a target of 24,000 corals outplanted.
