Project Description
The project objective is to preserve and share with tourists the maritime heritage of the Historic Commercial Fishing Village of Cortez and the State of Florida by providing facilities to accommodate the Folk School and Museum. The scope of work includes the expansion of the capacity of the Folk School program at the Florida Maritime Museum by improving the historic Pillsbury Boat Shop, an auxiliary building, and the Lake Minnie dock, pump and aeration system.
