Project Description
This program is for the restoration and protection of natural resources through the development and implementation of up to three water quality improvement construction projects. Two projects have been selected based on known water quality impairments: 1) Long Beach Sewer System Upgrades - Harrison County Utility Authority for the installation of new wastewater pipe and upgrades/replacement of associated pump stations to address pipe failures, and 2) Sewer System Upgrades in City of Gautier - rehabilitation of existing sewer lines and construction of new sewer lines designed to address infiltration and inflow issues.
